Bio
Sports have always been a part of my life growing up. Now, I use basketball as a way to get an education. Playing helps me keep my grades up year round. Basketball is also an outlet for me. If I need to get my mind off of something, or need to just get away from everyone for a few hours; I go and shoot by myself and just think. Playing basketball is also where I find some of my closest friends. Naturally being on a team everyone looks out for each other, but it goes so much beyond just being teammates. In life they are all cool people to be around.
The most memorable sports achievement I have earned has to be when I got the Times Herald player of the year my senior year in high school. I was so surprised when I got it, I felt that I played well during the season and everything, but I didn't think I made that big of an impact. That changed me as a player and a person. As a player, naturally it made me want to do better and expand my game even more. As a person it really opened my eyes to how far I had come from elementary school to senior year; and how I had changed and grown up.
