Bio

Sailing is so important in my life because it is one of the few things that I legitimately love. It's the thing that I've been doing in my life for the longest, and one of the things that make me the most happy. I love it because while doing it not only do I get to be on the water, but I also get to experience great competition.

The most memorable sailing experience that I've had is when my team got to travel to Auckland, New Zealand for the International Youth Match Racing Championships. We are from a very small yacht club and it was an awesome way to represent not only the club, but the US. Because we had to fundraise all of the money ourselves, I not only gained experience in a good pool of talent, but I really learned the value of money and hard work.
