Why are sports so important in your life?

Sports are important to me because playing sports puts me in a mental state of mind that nothing else on this earth can compare to. When I'm in the zone, nothing else but the game matters and all of my troubles that exist off the field can't touch me. Sports just put me in my happy place and even after the game, my mood still feels elevated, and I am better able to handle anything that comes at me after a big win.

What is the most memorable sports achievement in your life and has it changed you as a person and athlete?

One year I received MVP for one of my teams. It was the only year I played forward and I was the leader in goals scored for the whole team. The experience changed me because it showed me that I had the potential to be a leader on the field and from that moment on I was always selected to be one of the captains for any team I've been on. I carry that experience into the real world too where I try to be a leader in the classroom or whenever I'm placed in a position where I am able to make decisions and execute
