Sports are important in my life because it has shaped the person who I am and who I want to be in the future. The various sports I have played have taught me to be consistent and accountable for my actions. It has taught me to deal with a lot of different situations throughout my life and how to deal with adversity.
The most memorable sports acheivement I have had was in my senior year of high school. My basketball team had made it to the section championship and had a great opponent to face. The game went to triple overtime and our team was able to pull out the win by 3. It was the most physically demanding game i have ever been apart of and it was the best feeling to know that our efforts paid off when we got the win. It has definitly changed me as a person because it showed me that no matter how bad a situation can get, you must always fight through the adversity and overcome your obstacles.
