Cal Maritime Basketball Players Honored

Keelhauler Hoopsters Honored

Before the California Pacific Conference basketball tournament play begins today with first round matchups, the conference announced the All Conference selections. Both Cal Maritime teams were represented very well with four players recognized for All Conference and the Defensive Player of the Year for the men's side .

For the women's team, junior Javier Brantley was recognized with a First Team selection. Junior Tatjana Pitts earned Second Team status and freshman Jordan Mootz and junior Shante Sands were named to the Honorable Mention squad.

For the men's team, senior Keven Campbell and junior Anthony Simi were named First Team All Conference. Senior Howie Manzo received Second Team and junior Casey Healy was an Honorable Mention selection. Additionally, junior captain Jaquai Wiley was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
