New date set for home basketball doubleheader vs. UC Merced

VALLEJO, Calif. — Postponed earlier this year due to COVID protocols, Cal Maritime's home basketball doubleheader vs. UC Merced will now take place on Tuesday, February 8 at PEAC Main Gym in Vallejo.

Action will begin at 5:30 p.m. when the women face the Bobcats for the second time within a week; this season's head-to-head series starts on Thursday, Feb. 3 when the Keelhaulers head to Merced. Once the opening game concludes, the men will hit the floor for a 7:30 p.m. Cal Pac matchup. 

Games between Cal Maritime and the Bobcats are the second of three straight taking place in Vallejo as basketball's final homestand of the season will start on Saturday, February 5 against Simpson and conclude one week later versus Pacific Union.
