VALLEJO, Calif. – For the second time within a two-plus-week timespan, Cal Maritime and Menlo will battel one another on the basketball court when the Keelhaulers head to Atherton for Saturday's 2 p.m. non-conference game.

This is also the second time CSUM visited Haynes-Prim Pavilion this season; the first took place on October 29 when it faced Montana Western in a neutral-site contest.

When the Oaks and Keelhaulers first clashed in their respective season opener, on October 28 inside PEAC Main Gym, fans were treated to a thriller until the Oaks pulled away within the final minutes by sinking six straight to pick up their first win of 2022-23.

The Keelhaulers are Menlo's third straight Cal Pac opponent; following a victory against UC Merced on November 5th, the Oaks defeated Pacific Union this past Wednesday at home.

Following this weekend's matchup at Menlo, Cal Maritime will return home for its next two games, slated for Wednesday vs. UC Santa Cruz (7:30 p.m.) and Southern Oregon next Saturday (2 p.m.) before wrapping up the month with an exhibition game at Holy Names on the 22nd.

These four upcoming games will play a key role in helping men's basketball prep for conference play, beginning at home on December 1 against the defending Cal Pac champions Saint Katherine.
