Event Parking
Fans and visitors can park in Lot O on game day (first parking lot on your right when you enter main campus), please note that a daily parking permit is required and available for purchase on site through a yellow permit machine located at the lot's entrance.

PEAC Main Gym Entrance
There are two entrances to PEAC Main Gym that basketball fans can use on the facility's second floor. Two sets of double doors are located across the hall from restrooms that are available for public use.

VALLEJO, Calif. – Cal Maritime will begin its pursuit of a coveted berth at the Cal Pac's year-end postseason basketball tournament inside PEAC Main Gym on Thursday when it faces Saint Katherine in each team's league opener. The inaugural weekend of conference play will conclude two days later against Westcliff; each game will tip at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday's matchup is a rematch of last year's Cal Pac Tournament semifinal when these teams met in Antelope Valley. Following a victory over UC Merced in the previous day's quarterfinal, Cal Maritime fell to the Firebirds, who ultimately defeated Benedictine Mesa to win the conference's postseason event and earn its automatic bid for the NAIA Tournament. 

These teams split the two head-to-head games played in Vallejo; CSUM won the inaugural meeting, which took place in San Marcos during the 2018-19 season, and will return to Southern California on February 11 for its final road game of the season.

The winner of Thursday's game will snap a 2-2 all-time-series tie.

Even though Westcliff opens league play with a 1-1 overall record — its Cal Pac slate starts Thursday at Pacific Union — the Warriors are a battle-tested team.

After dropping their season opener at The Master's, the Warriors defeated Chapman to even their overall record. Outside of those games, WU competed in four exhibition games at Idaho State, Cal State Fullerton, Colorado Christian and Colorado School of Mines, losing each contest.

Following next week's game at Pacific Union, CSUM will return to PEAC Main Gym for its final three home games of 2022 against William Jessup (Dec. 13), Southern Oregon (Dec. 20) before playing the first of six straight games on the road when it visits Simpson on New Year's Eve.
