SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Led by Divine Nwoko with 13, three Keelhaulers scored double figures in Saturday's Cal Pac matchup at Saint Katherine — men's basketball's final road game of the season.
Miles Pennington finished with 11 points, Braxton Adderly added another 10, and Shawn Kelly fell one point short of adding his name to this list, but led all Keelhaulers with seven rebounds, in a game the host Firebirds won by a 77-65 result.
Cal Maritime will head home for its final pair of games before heading to Gilbert, Arizona, to compete in this year's Cal Pac Men's Basketball Championship. Visiting Vallejo throughout the upcoming days, before the start of postseason play, are Antelope Valley on Thursday (7:30 p.m. start) and La Sierra on Saturday (8:30 p.m.).
Men's basketball will return to action this upcoming week with an overall record of 12-13 and an 11-7 record against conference opponents. Saint Katherine will enter the final week of the regular season in second place with records of 17-7 and 13-4.
