Event Admission
Admission is free for all fans at every home intercollegiate athletics event throughout the 2025-26 season.

Event Parking
Fans and visitors can park in Lot O on game day (first parking lot on your right when you enter main campus), please note that a daily parking permit is required and available for purchase on site through a yellow permit machine located at the lot's entrance.

PEAC Main Gym Entrance
The entrance to PEAC Main Gym for basketball fans' use, is located on the facility's second floor, across the hall from restrooms that are available for public use. Please note that an elevator is available in case fans use PEAC's other entrance on the first floor (across from PEAC Pool), if needed.

Doors officially open 30 minutes before tipoff or the start of a first game of a home doubleheader.

VALLEJO, Calif. — For only the second time this season, and the first since its October 30 home opener, Cal Maritime will compete on its home court when Pacific Union and Whittier College visit campus for a pair of games within a 19-hour timespan.

The final games, road or home, on the Keelhaulers' schedule take place after playing its last eight games — the entire month of November and first week of December and last week's finals week hiatus — on the road.

Even though Wednesday's game is against a California Pacific Conference institution, this is a designated non-conference home game because league play does not officially commence until January 17 when the Pioneers return to PEAC Main Gym for each team's Cal Pac opener.

Conference or not, matchups against Pacific Union are highly energetic affairs since the two are local rivals. However, this rivalry has been one sided in recent years with the Keelhaulers looking to extend an 11-game overall win streak and six-game home win streak vs. PUC.

Entering this weekend's action — the Pioneers are traveling to Chico State on Saturday and host Whittier College three days later — Pacific Union is still searching for its first win of the season.

Two days after facing the Pioneers in Angwin, Whittier College will visit Vallejo for Cal Maritime's last game of 2025. The Poets will host UC Santa Cruz on Saturday before heading north for their two-game homestand.

This is the third head-to-head game between the Keelhaulers and the Division-III Poets with WC holding a 2-0 advantage. Whittier defeated Cal Maritime by eight at home in 2013's inaugural matchup before defeating Cal Maritime on its home floor nearly one year later to the day by 10.

Whittier is 4-2 so far this season but it will face a team that opened the season by matching the best start in program history by winning the first four games of the year.

A win in either one of its two home games, preferably both, would end a three-game slide for the Keelhaulers entering the holiday break.

Since PEAC Main Gym is used for U.S. Coast Guard exams the first weeks of January, they will not return to action, following Thursday's meeting with Whittier, until January 3 at Lincoln (CA). The inaugural home game of 2026 is the team's final tune-up prior to Cal Pac action when UC Santa Cruz take on Cal Maritime in the first of two games against the Banana Slugs this season.

On February 14, Cal Maritime will hear to the coast to complete the season series on the Slugs' home court.
