Why are sports so important in your life?

I need to be active. Being part of a team provides me with the structure I need to be active during school. there is also a large amount of camaraderie that I find enjoyment in being part of.

What is the most memorable sports achievement in your life and has it changed you as a person and athlete?

After running my first half marathon, my sister and I laid on the ground for hours aching from head to toe, but amazed at our feat, and thoroughly excited about doing it again. I find it amazing how much you kind of dislike the task when your nine miles deep, but when you're finished you start planning your next race. That first half marathon will have me running for life.
