Why are sports so important in your life?
The sport that is most important to me has to be baseball. I have played baseball all my life and I believe that it has shaped me to be the person that I am today. I learned to be a great leader as well as a great follower and teammate. I know that nothing can be achieved alone, accomplishment is one of the best feelings in the world.
What is the most memorable sports achievement in your life and has it changed you as a person and athlete?
My most memorable baseball moment I have ever had was my junior year in high school. We were playing our conference rival for the championship and we were down 1 run in the bottom of the 7th inning and I was up to bat. There was 1 man on and 2 outs. I was the last hope to keep this game going. I got behind in the count 0 balls, and 2 strikes. Then the pitcher threw me a hanging curve ball. I hit a 2 run homerun to win the conference championship, and it was the greatest moment in my life.
