Cal Maritime secures seventh place at the Cal Pac Championship

REDDING, Calif. – Jake Banich led all Keelhaulers by finishing tied for 22nd, James McNally and Brennan White ended their week in Redding next to one another, on the player leaderboard in 26th and 27th, respectively, and the Keelhaulers posted a seventh-place result at the California Pacific Conference Men's Golf Championship.

Banich and McNally posted scores in the 80s in each round played at the Gold Hills Golf Club; White secured the team's lowest individual round by finishing Tuesday's second round with an 80.

By shooting an 81 in Wednesday's closing round, White jumped three spots to finish 27th after starting the round in 30th place.

Even though Embry-Riddle collected the league's team title, and the right to advance to the NAIA National Championship with this tournament victory, it was Benedictine-Mesa's Cameron Hedge who won the Cal Pac's individual championship by finishing five shots in front of ERAU's Cameron Jones.
