VALLEJO, Calif. – The Keelhaulers' 2022-23 golf season will commence at a familiar environment when they tee-off on Monday, October 17 at Blue Rock Springs's East Course in Vallejo, California.

After taking part in Sunday's practice round, participating teams will begin competition at 8 a.m. on Monday. After taking their first tour of Cal Maritime's home course, everyone will return on Tuesday for the tournament's final 18 holes, also commencing at 8 a.m.

Both days will incorporate a split start with the men teeing-off on Hole 1 and the women opening each round on Hole 10. The women's and men's teams with the lowest group score, and individuals from each competition who possess the lowest overall scores will receive awards.

Thirty-one men from five schools — Cal Maritime, College of Idaho, Menlo, Simpson and Southern Oregon — in addition to 18 women from the same five programs — only Soka's women's team will make the trip to Vallejo — comprise the Cal Maritime Fall Invitational's field.

The Cal Maritime Fall Invitational is the first of two tournaments scheduled throughout the fall semester; the Keelhaulers will hear to the Quail Lodge & Golf Club, located in Carmel, to compete in the Pacific Coast Highway Invitational less than two weeks later.

This three-day event, hosted by Menlo, begins on Halloween.
