Bio

I was born into sports. My dad always liked sports, so it was easy for me to stay in sports. Sports for me have been my way of getting to know people and to stay fit. Most of my friends have played or play a sport. I grew up playing baseball, a little basketball, football, and six years of rugby. If I probably were to stop playing rugby I would go out for MMA.

When I was in the summer of my 10th grade year in high school, I went to New Zealand on a rugby scholarship for two weeks. I played one game with the high school I attended. And I learned quickly that these players in New Zealand were more experienced than the players in the States. They were more organized and had a natural, smooth, flow of the game. It was an intense game throughout, but we lost by a last-minute try. After living in New Zealand for two weeks, I realized the rugby culture was built on honour and tradition. And I quickly enjoyed it more than football.
