CMA Rugby beat Sierra Collegiate 53-12

CMA Rugby beat Sierra Collegiate 53-12 to wrap up 3 game league home stand! The Keelhaulers are on the road for their next 3 games; two tough league matches against Sonoma State (2/13 @ 1:00) and Santa Rosa JC (2/27 @ 1:00) sandwiched around a non-league match at CAL (2/20 @ 10am). Despite the lopsided scoring line against Sierra, it was a hard-hitting contest throughout the match. Sophomore Michael Mukuru (Tumusiime) and Senior Ted Bendrick both scored 2 tries. Seniors Chad Mensinger, Codi Jones, and Evan Chambers and freshman Daynon Matthews each added a score as well. Mukuru was good on 5 of 8 conversions and 1 penalty goal.

CMA's B side lost to the Napa Men's RFC in the b side match. Despite the loss, the young cadets scored 3 times and kept their shape the entire time.

CMA's next match is on the road at Sonoma State on 2/13. Kick-off is at 1:00 pm.
