Cal Maritime returns to Bodnar Field, earns wire-to-wire win over the Otters

VALLEJO, Calif. – Led by Wilson Urkov with two, nine different Keelhaulers recorded a try in Saturday's Pacific Western Conference game at Bodnar Field.

Mohamed Albalasi scored Cal Maritime's inaugural points of the afternoon a little over three minutes after action commenced, and the Keelhaulers were responsible for all 49 points scored before halftime.

Cal State Monterey Bay ended CSUM's shutout bid by earning its only try of the day six minutes after competition resumed, but rugby's sizable advantage lasted until the final whistle in a game it won by a 66-7 score.

The Keelhaulers will return to their home turf Friday night to host Sonoma State at 7:30 p.m., and enter that conference clash with a 1-1 overall and league record.
