Quick road trip takes rugby to Southern California

VALLEJO, Calif. – Rugby will continue its three-game road swing this weekend with a pair of games, in as many days, in Southern California.

Up first is a matchup against one of the powerhouse programs in the nation, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, set for Saturday at 10 a.m. Less than 24 hours later, the Keelhaulers will square off against Pepperdine in a 12 p.m. contest.

Once the team returns home, cadet-athletes will have nearly two weeks to rest and prepare for its November 4 home clash against Cal Poly Humboldt — the defending national champions.
