Bio
Being part of a sporting family, sports was put upon me from a young age. Having family members who have played soccer professionally in England has meant that I became a member of a team rather quickly in life. What I love most about sports and soccer in general is that it offers a way to take the pressure off from life. I love being part of a strong team and the unity and atmosphere brings the best out of me. Soccer is important in my life as it has helped me develop as a person and without sports in my life I would not be the person I am today.
I have two very memorable experiences when it comes to sporting achievements. One involves me and another involves my brother. Having played within the Charlton Athletic Football Academy from the age of 6 through to 14, I learnt a lot which helped develop my skills to a great standard. My last match for Charlton Athletic was at Sparrows Lane and watched by a crowd of nearly 300 people. The opponent was Watford which included players in the line up who have gone on and made it in today's game. Being able to play the game in front of my family and scoring the goal that won us the match was personally my greatest sporting achievement and as it was my last game before sustaining an injury which has hindered my playing ability ever since, I am proud to have been part of such a successful team. The other experience was witnessing my brother gain an international youth cap for England schoolboys against Switzerland schoolboys. Words cannot describe how proud I was to have a brother who had the honour to play for his country.
