Cal Maritime men's soccer falls to William Jessup

The Cal Maritime men's soccer team fell to William Jessup of Rocklin, 3-0, on Saturday in a California Pacific Conference game at Bodnar Field.

The Warriors (4-7, 3-4) scored all three goals in the second half. Kyle Sakurada, Kurt Grinsell and Kyle Brandenhorst had goals while Cody Cantrell, Sakurada and Jacob Rodriguez had assists.

The Keelhaulers (0-7-1, 0-5-1) had five shots on goal. Austin Gearty had two of the five shots.

Cal Maritime goalkeeper Kyle Carpenter had 12 saves in the contest. His counterpart, Zach Kammerer, had five saves.

The Keelhaulers lost to La Sierra 4-1 on Friday. Marshall Fice had the goal and Carpenter had eight saves in the contest.

Cal Maritime hosts Menlo on Wednesday. Game time is 6 p.m
