Keelhaulers can't slow down Mills College

The Keelhaulers hosted Mills College in a tough non-conference matchup at Bodnar Field on a cool, breezy night in Vallejo.

The scoring started off in the eight minute of play where Mills College attacker Fernando Menera was just right of the top corner of the penalty box where he took pass from his teammate, Jose Fimbres, and snuck it in under the outstretched Keelhauler goalie David Henderson. The cyclones would add four more goals in the first half from the efforts of Eric Hegmann, Stephen Levy, Brett Fitzpatrick and Giovanny Gomes.

Menera would score his second goal later in the second half making goals five and six for him on the season. Henderson would finish the game with four saves totaling 96 for him on the year, good for 16th in the country.

The first half has been tough for the Keelhaulers as they've been outshot 116-40 from opponents and outscored 36-3.

The Keelhaulers will look to bounce back after a tough loss Saturday at home in a conference matchup against Sierra Nevada College (1-10) where the Keelhaulers will also be hosting Senior Day.
