Three-sport student-athlete from Scripps Ranch commits to Cal Maritime

VALLEJO, Calif. – Ben Nahrstedt, a 5-foot-11 goalkeeper from Scripps Ranch, California, joined Cal Maritime men's soccer's incoming class, as announced by head coach Mike Carvalho.

Nahrstedt, a three-sport student-athlete who represented Scripps Ranch High School on its soccer, cross country and track teams, is planning to major in marine transportation once he arrives to campus for the fall semester. Once he earns a Cal Maritime degree, Nahrstedt would like to work on tugboats and become a captain. 

Throughout his tenure at SRHS, Nahrstedt also competed for Scripps Ranch Soccer Club.
