Keelhaulers finish 3-1 at UC Merced Invite
MERCED, Calif. - The Cal Maritime men's water polo team dominated the second half in wins over Stanford and San Jose State on day two of the UC Merced Invite, finishing the competition with a 3-1 record.
The Keelhaulers (6-2) head into next weekend's (Oct. 30-31) Sierra Pacific Championship winners in four of their last five contests. Next week's conference championship will be hosted at Cal Maritime.

The Keelhaulers outscored the Cardinal 8-2 in the second half on their way to their biggest win of the tournament.
Connor Wadhams tallied a hat trick. Ian Iverson, Jake Douglas and Aron Cameron each contributed a pair of scores.

Tied 8-8 early in the final period, Spencer Powley scored twice in a 4-0 run to hand the Keelhaulers a 12-8 advantage.
Brandon Kolarov had a team-high four scores while Powley and Ian Iverson registered hat tricks.
