VALLEJO, Calif. - Three home tournaments and a pair of road matches comprise Cal Maritime's 2024 men's water polo schedule, as announced by head coach Matt De Trane on Wednesday.

The Keelhaulers' schedule will commence with a pair of games at UC Merced on September 22; CSUM will open the day with a battle against the host Bobcats and end its weekend shortly thereafter with a neutral-site contest versus Merced College.

A home-heavy schedule will commence on October 12 when men's water polo hosts Chico State in the opening match of the CWPA Tournament #1, hosted by Cal Maritime.

Throughout this two-day event, the Keelhaulers will square off against San Francisco (Oct. 12) and Stanford (Oct. 13) before wrapping up the weekend in the tournament finale vs. Nevada.

That matchup against the Wolf Pack will provide Coach De Trane with his final opportunity to adjust his rotation because CSUM will commence postseason play when it returns to the pool October 19 and 20 to host the Sierra Pacific Division Men's Water Polo Championship.

Water polo fans should visit GoKeelhaulers.com in the days leading up to this postseason tournament to discover head-to-head matchups throughout this two-group round-robin competition. Tournament seeds are based upon results from the regular season; the event's consolation championship, third place and championship participants are based on results from matches played throughout the opening day and the morning of October 20.

PEAC Pool will host the final tournament of the 2024 season when teams visit Vallejo to compete in the NAIA West Invitational. Individual matchups are TBA at the time of this release and will chance once set by Cal Pac officials.
