Keelhaulers take 4th at Sonoma State

The Cal Maritime Men's Cross Country team traveled to Santa Rosa, California to race in the Sonoma State Invitational on Saturday, Oct 8th. The race was held at Spring Lake Park under great racing conditions. Goody Walowit crossed the finish line first for the Keelhaulers and 13th overall with a personal best 28:47 in the 8 kilometer (4.97 mile) race. Charlie Wiswall finished with a time of 29:29, and Ainsley Manlapaz came in shortly after finishing third for the Keelhauler team. Mike Anderson and Stephen Rosenfeld rounded out the scoring for Cal Maritime to edge out Dominican for 4th place overall.

The Keelhaulers will look to improve their times this weekend when they travel to Southern California to race in the Vanguard Invitational in Orange, Ca. The Men's race will start at 9:45 am, following the women's race at 9:00 am.
