Sailing has helped shape who I have become. I have learned that when racing, hard work, dedication and just an overall good effort can really help you get to where you want to go, but I have also learned that one needs to take time and just go for a sail and cruise, not to take life too seriously. Sailing is important for me because it reminds me of two very important principles: work hard to get where you want to be, but take the time to relax and enjoy the sea breeze.

None of the events have changed me as a person. I have had a few tough races that I can remember tested me and my dedication.
