VALLEJO, Calif. – For the second time in as many weeks, Cal Maritime will head to Santa Barbara to compete in an event at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club. Last weekend, the Keelhaulers were one of six teams that participated in the Gaucho Fall Team Race; this week, they will seek additional hardware as one of 18 teams competing at the Pacific Coast Fall Dinghy Championship following last weekend's title-winning performance at the Kennedy Cup.

Besides the Keelhaulers and UC Santa Barbara, the Championship's host institution, Arizona State, Cal Poly, Cal State Channel Islands, Cal State Monterey Bay, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, San Diego State, Stanford, Cal, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC San Diego, a second UCSB team, UC Santa Cruz, and USC comprise a field that will compete in three separate divisions.

This event will cap a successful fall season for Cal Maritime, one that includes top-three finishes in all but one of five events.

A break in the Keelhaulers' 2021-22 schedule begins once everyone returns home on Sunday, and will conclude on January 8 at the Rose Bowl in Long Beach, California.
