Keelhauler Classic canceled due to severe weather conditions predicted for the weekend

VALLEJO, Calif. - Due to severe weather forecasted for this weekend and the potential for unsuitable racing conditions at Morrow Cove, Cal Maritime Head Sailing Coach Tom Tucker canceled the Keelhauler Classic. This dinghy regatta was slated to take place on campus this Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17.

This decision means that the Keelhaulers will enjoy a week off — events were scheduled every weekend throughout the month of April — before ending the season next weekend (April 23 and 24) at two events: the Anteater Open (Irvine, California) and Rainier Cup (Portland, Oregon).
