Myers and Quille earn All-PCCSC distinction

VALLEJO, Calif. - Following the conclusion of the Mark Healey Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Open Dinghy Championship, conference officials announced their end-of-year honor roll. When announced, that list of All-PCCSC award winners included Clay Myers and Etienne Quille.

Myers earned a spot on the PCCSC's Open Skipper list with Quille earning a coveted spot on the Crew team. This is the first time the PCCSC bestowed this honor to Myers and the second time, in as many seasons, Quille earned all-conference recognition for his skills and expertise as a crew member.

Throughout the 2023-24 season, the dinghy and offshore sailing student-athletes helped the Keelhaulers secure three regatta championships, eight top-three and 16 top-five results out of 20 events that took place throughout during both semesters. In all, the team traveled over 12,000 miles to participate in most of those regattas, sailed in waters up and down the California coast.

Including flights to Seattle and Annapolis for a dinghy and pair of offshore events, respectively, sailing's student-athletes covered over 24,000 miles for this year's competitions.
