Busy month continues for Cal Maritime at the Top-9 Invite

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Cal Maritime's A crew started the Top-9 Invite on a positive note by securing third in the inaugural race of the weekend at the Arrillaga Family Rowing and Sailing Center in Redwood City, recorded third again midway through the regatta and a weekend-best second in the final set of the 28 combined races that took place throughout the event to finish seventh overall  in a field solely comprised of Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference institutions.

The Keelhaulers' B boat also posted a third-place result in its inaugural race and finished second in another to highlight that boat's weekend. 

The Top-9 Invite, hosted by Stanford, is part of a busy month that includes four regattas in three weekends, a stretch of action that continues next weekend at the Jeremy McIntyre Memorial Open Team Race, also taking place in Redwood City.
