Mueller and Craig earn all-conference accolades; successful season ends with sixth-place finish at the PCCSC Fleet Race Championship

Final Results

VALLEJO, Calif. –
Seventeen schools headed to the U.S. Sailing Center in Long Beach, California, to compete in the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Fleet Race Championship, the final regatta on Cal Maritime's 2025-26 schedule.

Highlighted by seven top-three race results out of the 14 rounds of competition, featuring A and B teams from each institution, the Keelhaulers finished one point shy of ending the weekend tied for fifth and left this USC-hosted event with a sixth-place result.

Following the conclusion of this regatta, PCCSC officials bestowed all-conference distinction to junior Nick Mueller and freshman Indigo Craig. As was the case last season, Mueller earned All-PCCSC Skipper recognition; in her first year with the program, Craig received Crew recognition.

These end-of-season awards provided the perfect ending for a Cal Maritime program that won three regattas — PCCSC Singlehanded Open Championship, Stoney Burke Intersectional and CYC Midwins — nine top-three results and another appearance by Mueller, his second in as many years, at the National Singlehanded Open Championship.

Even though the season ended in Long Beach, Cal Maritime will continue training and preparing for its lone summertime regatta, one that pits members of the program against the world's top professional boats in July's Pacific Cup.

The Pacific Cup, known within the sport as the fun race to Hawaii, is a biannual offshore sailing race that challenges participants with an exhilarating journey from San Francisco, California to Kaneohe, Hawaii.
