Bio

Sports are very important in my life because it is what keeps me going. Year after year I feel like I need it in order to succeed in school, and in life. It makes me stronger as a person and helps me build my confidence and strengths as a person. Without basketball I honestly do not know where I would would be, I would probably be just working and not continuing school, so I guess all in all it helps me become a better person for the future!
A major setback that I have had as a player that I believe makes me the player and person I am today is an injury last season. It was a kind of serious injury and I was out for what I thought was going to be my last season of college basketball. But after about two months of recovery and rehab, I got back into the game and was able to finish my season. It made me stronger and realize that basketball is a big part in my life. And I'm really thankful to be a part of a team again at Cal Maritime. I am honestly just happy to be able to play again!
