Keelhaulers Capture Second Straight Overtime Victory

Tatjana Pitts' two free throws tied the game with 17.3 seconds left to send the game to overtime and in overtime the Keelhaulers outscored Pacific Union College 12-5 to come away with the 81-74 win. The win moves the Keelhaulers to 2-5 in Cal Pac play and 9-12 overall.
A Shante Sands miss was followed by a Tatjana Pitts offensive rebound and foul that put Pitts on the line for the final two points of regulation. Pitts finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds and was 6/6 from the F.T. line. Over the last 3 games Pitts has converted 26/29 free throws. Julia Tani led the Keelhaulers in scoring with 20, while Shante Sands added 15 points and 4 assists and Javier Brantley added a double double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
The Keelhaulers travel to Riverside for a rematch with La Sierra University on Saturday night.
