Chrashawnna Douglas Picks Cal Maritime

Chrashawnna Douglas has decided to continue her education and bring her basketball talents to Cal Maritime as announced by head Coach Mike Warrington. Douglas played at Labette Community College in Parsons Kansas this past season where she averaged 7 PPG and 4.8 RPG in league play. Labette plays in the extremely tough Kansas Jayhawk Community College League of the NJCCA.

"Crashawnna is a person of great desire and determination. She has faced adversity throughout her life and has always persevered. We look forward to helping her reach her goals here at Cal Maritime," commented coach Warrington. Douglas prepped at Sacramento High where she was part of one of the top programs in the state. In her three years of varsity basketball the Dragons won 76 games and went 30-0 in league play.

"I decided to come to Cal Maritime after talking to Coach Warrington about my major and what I wanted to do after college, which is to work for the FBI or CIA. The thing I am looking forward to most next year is being part of a team that I know will work hard to have a successful season", said Douglas when asked about why she chose to be a Keelhauler..
