Keelhaulers Represented Well on All Conference Teams
The California Pacific Conference women's basketball coaches have unanimously selected Menlo'sLaurel Donnenwirthas this year's Player of the Year. She joins nine other Cal Pac players on the conference's First Team, but is the only to repeat as a First Team selection.

Donnenwirth, who led the No. 13 Lady Oaks to a 10-0 mark in Cal Pac play and 22-4 overall, averaged a double-double this season, compiling 15.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest. The senior forward was picked as the Defender of the Year last season, when she was also tabbed as a First Team all-conference player.
In other awards given by Cal Pac coaches, Cal Maritime head coachMike Warringtonwas voted the Coach of the Year by his peers after guiding the Keelhaulers to the best record in program history and a second-place finish behind Menlo.
La Sierra'sTina Fantroywas named Newcomer of the Year after completing a season averaging 17.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per outing. She led the Cal Pac in scoring average and was second in field goal percentage.

Simpson'sEsther Woffordwas picked the Defender of the Year for her outstanding on-ball capabilities, but she also put up some impressive offensive numbers, averaging 15.5 points and over five rebounds per game.
UC Merced'sChristina Castrowas selected as the Freshman of the Year for a campaign in which she averaged 10.2 points per game-second best on the team-totaled the second highest number of assists (59), and the most steals (44).
Overall, Menlo had three players named to the first team and two more earning Honorable Mention. Cal Maritime and La Sierra each earned two First Team bids and one player on the Second Team.
