PEAC Main Gym Entrance

VALLEJO, Calif. – After starting its season in Rocklin at the Bill Holtz Warrior Classic on October 29, Cal Maritime's 10-day hiatus will end on Wednesday when it hosts Menlo College in the team's inaugural home game of the 2021-22 season. Tipoff inside PEAC vs. the Oaks is slated for 6 p.m.
That home opener will kick-off a busy week of basketball for the Keelhaulers that includes three games within a four-day timespan. Following its travel day to San Diego, women's basketball will battle San Diego Christian and Saint Katherine on back-to-back days at the USK Sports Complex in San Marcos, California.
Friday's tipoff vs. San Diego Christian will take place at 11 a.m.; Saturday's non-conference game against Saint Katherine — both compete as California Pacific Conference schools and will square off in a designated league game on January 22 when the Firebirds visit Vallejo — is set for 10 a.m.
The Keelhaulers' longest road trip of the season, and one of two pairs of games taking place in the southern half of the state — their final regular season games at La Sierra (Feb. 19) and Antelope Valley (Feb. 21) — will double as a homecoming for first-year head coach Denise Bennett.
In addition to graduating from San Diego State, Bennett served as an assistant coach at San Diego Christian for two years.
Following games against the Hawks and Firebirds, the last of three straight road games will take Cal Maritime to UC Santa Cruz on Nov. 19.
