VALLEJO, Calif. – Led by Alicia Porter, who finished with a game-high double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds, Cal Maritime remained within striking distance of Westcliff during Saturday's Cal Pac matchup at PEAC Main Gym, but the visiting Warriors outscored the Keelhaulers, 21-11 in the third quarter to double their halftime lead and record a 91-64 result.
Cal Maritime ends its season-opening homestands with a 0-6 overall and 0-2 Cal Pac record; Westcliff will return to Southern California at 5-2 and 2-0.
Just over one month after their season started (Nov. 5) vs. Bethel, the Keelhaulers will head to Pacific Union for Thursday's 6 p.m. rivalry matchup for their first road test of the season.
