VALLEJO, Calif. – Women's basketball will return to Southern California for its final road trip of the season when it faces Westcliff Thursday night and Saint Katherine two days later. Once it returns to Vallejo this weekend, the final games of the season will take place inside PEAC Main Gym against Antelope Valley, on February 16, and on Senior Night two days later versus Antelope Valley.

After reaching the 1,000 career-point milestone in Sunday's homestand finale versus Park Gilbert, Alicia Porter will square off against another one of the Cal Pac's top scorers when the Keelhaulers square off at Westcliff Thursday night. Porter will enter that night's matchup leading all players with her 26.0 point per game average, the Warriors' Trinity Vasquez ranks No. 3 at 18.9 ppg.

Cal Maritime can play the role of spoiler in Irvine that night since Westcliff is one of six teams battling for one of the four remaining spots in the league's postseason tournament. Antelope Valley and Simpson already secured their berths; Embry-Riddle and UC Merced sit third and fourth, ahead of a fifth-place Westcliff team that is trying to hold off Park Gilbert, Benedictine Mesa and La Sierra, who enter this week's schedule in fifth-eighth place.

With only two wins separating Westcliff and La Sierra, every game matters for the group of four teams who trail the Eagles and Bobcats — the next two teams in line to punch their postseason ticket.

Cal Maritime will open its week against a team that lost three of four games in recent weeks; the Warriors will end the season with five of their upcoming six games, scheduled throughout the next 10 days, taking place on their home court.

Saint Katherine is another team that struggled in recent weeks since it dropped the last 12 games in a row after winning games against all three Northern California-based Cal Pac teams in early December.

Just like the Warriors, the Firebirds will end the season with a home-heavy schedule throughout the final two weeks of the season since the Keelhaulers are the second of five teams that will head to San Marcos to square off against USK.

Following Thursday's homestand opener versus Pacific Union, Saint Katherine will end its season against Cal Maritime and all three Arizona teams: Benedictine Mesa, Embry-Riddle and Park Gilbert.
