Alicia Porter becomes program’s new No. 1 all-time scorer in her final game as a Keelhauler
PHOENIX – The moment took place with 4:01 remaining in the opening quarter of Saturday's Cal Pac Conference game in Phoenix at The PHHAcility: After finishing with 18 points in Thursday's contest at Park Gilbert, which pulled the graduate student guard/forward even with Lauren Greenwell (Westbrook) as Cal Maritime Women's Basketball's all-time leading scorers, Alicia Porter officially became the program's all-time No. 1 scorer when she hit her first shot of the
night, a free throw, to record her 1,481st career point.
In her final game in a Cal Maritime uniform, Porter turned in a performance nobody will forget as she dominated play on both ends of the court, and posted her 13th double-double of the season, by ending with 26 points and 10 rebounds — both game-high figures.
The Simi Valley native ends her career as the program's top scorer with 1,506 career points.

That was the first of 26 scored that night, the program's new all-time record now stands at 1,506 points.#Congratulations, Alicia! #GoKeelhaulers #KeelhaulerPride @Cal_Maritime pic.twitter.com/J4rFZycX8G
In her last appearance as a Keelhauler, Marissa Serrano scored five points, collected a team-high three assists and one rebound.
Even though Benedictine Mesa won the game, 77-56, the night belonged to Porter as she concluded a stellar Cal Maritime career by shooting 6 for 18 overall, 3 for 8 from three and 11 for 14 at the line throughout her 39 minutes played.
Dylan Fulton finished with seven points and six rebounds and Anika Carey ended her day with five points and four rebounds.
Women's basketball's season finale also capped Imhotet Amen-Ra's first year as head coach, one that saw the Keelhaulers gain a well-deserved reputation throughout conference play as a team far talented that its record indicated, and a program on the rise by the way CSUM nearly upset numerous teams throughout the season that will continue their seasons at the Cal Pac's year-end postseason tournament.
