VALLEJO, Calif. – Before the start of Sunday's 1 p.m. home finale vs. UC Merced, Cal Maritime Women's Soccer will honor its three-member senior class — Jackie Garcia, Margaret Malmquist-West and Emily Silva — in a Senior Day ceremony that will commence at 12:30 p.m. Once that ends, the Keelhaulers will look to thwart the Bobcats' North Division title hopes in a Cal Pac matchup slated for 1 p.m.

Entering the final week of the season, the Bobcats trail Simpson by one point in the standings. However, Simpson will play its final game of the regular season on Friday 90 minutes before UC Merced's Senior Day game vs. Pacific Union kicks-off at 12:30 p.m.

Following its final home game of the year, Cal Maritime will have a day to rest and prep for Tuesday night's 6:30 p.m. regular season finale at Mills College.

Edged 1-0 on September 30 when Mills College visited Bodnar Field for their 2021 season opener, the Keelhaulers will seek a season split when it heads to Hellman Soccer Field in Oakland for a rematch of their season opener.

Earlier this year, Cal Maritime tested Cyclone goalkeeper Anais Uriarte all afternoon long since eight of its nine shots were on goal. But it was a 42nd-minute strike by Ruth Acevedo that eventually became the only goal of the game, which lifted Mills to a narrow win over the Keelhaulers.
