VALLEJO, Calif. - In the final game of its season-long five-game homestand, Cal Maritime hosted Saint Katherine in Saturday's Alumni Weekend game at Bodnar Field. Two goals scored within two minutes of one another, with less than 15 minutes remaining in the opening half, helped the visiting Firebirds pull away and record a 7-0 result over the Keelhaulers.

Women's soccer will enter next week's Southern California road trip, its final set of road games this season, with an overall record of 0-12 and 0-8 mark against league teams. The Firebirds return home with respective records of 5-4-5 and 4-2-2.

When Cal Maritime returns to Vallejo, following its upcoming games at La Sierra (Thursday) and Providence Christian (Saturday), its final games of the 2022 season will take place on its home turf against Simpson (Oct. 27) and UC Merced (Oct. 29).
