Maddy Dack, Kate Dabrow earn All-Cal Pac honors
CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. – Senior goalkeeper Maddy Dack and sophomore center back/defender Kate Dabrow earned All-Cal Pac accolades when league officials announced their end-of-season honor roll on Wednesday. When unveiled, Dack was named to the Second Team with Dabrow receiving Honorable Mention.
This is the second time Dack earned All-Cal Pac distinction and the first in Dabrow's career.
In her final season at Cal Maritime, Dack finished with 260 saves, the second-highest total among all NAIA goalkeepers that is now the No. 1 single-season total in program and Cal Pac Conference history.
For her career, the Brea, California native collected 440 saves to set another pair of all-time school and league records.
Dabrow's defensive prowess and leadership led to Cal Pac honors for the first time in her career as the sophomore midfielder was a fixture in CSUM's lineup throughout the entire season. Named a starter in all 14 games played, her ability to frustrate opponents' top scorers helped her earn a well-deserved reputation as one of the league's top two-way talents.
