VALLEJO, Calif. – Cal Maritime played its first match home match of the season on Sunday as they welcomed Pacific Union to Bodnar Field. The two conference opponents played a non-conference match in front of a packed stadium.
Amanda Carvalho, Kate Dabrow and Aliyah Moreno each recorded a shot for the Keelhaulers.
After the Pioneers garnered a 2-0 advantage at halftime, they extended their lead and eventually recorded a 6-0 victory.
Kate McGowan had seven saves for the Keelhaulers.
The Keelhaulers will start a three match road trip next Monday as they will travel to NCAA member UC Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
