VALLEJO, Calif. – The wait is over for fans of Cal Maritime's women's soccer team because the first official game of the season will take place on Saturday, August 30, at Bodnar Field. Kickoff against the Santa Rosa Bear Cubs will take place at 11 a.m.

Fans who are unable to attend in person can watch free video streams of all home intercollegiate athletics events throughout the 2025-26 academic year.

Saturday's contest is the first of six straight home games, the longest in program history, spanning 39 days during a homestand that includes all of the team's three pre-Cal Pac contests.

This year's roster features six returners, a group that includes 2024 All-Cal Pac selections Amanda Carvalho, Ciara Kelly, Kate McGowan and Kaitlyn Medina. Joining this group of all-conference-caliber talent are eight freshmen: Ysabella De Soto, Kylie Gangi, Miyai Jones, Mia Josse, Avery Musnicki, Ash Rodriguez, Melanie Rodriguez-Rios and Marikaya Williams.

Leeza Bremerman, a former member of the program, returns after a one-year hiatus, as does Hayden Carter following a successful sophomore season, and Vallejo native Nayelly Orellana complete head coach Mike Bielski's 2025 roster.

The Keelhaulers' homestand opens with two games in as many weekends; after facing Jessup next Saturday, Menlo will visit campus on September 19 before Cal Maritime commences league play on the 27th versus Simpson.

New to the Cal Pac this season is Stanton, a Southern California-based school competing its inaugural season as a conference member this year after competing as an independent institution in 2024.

Westcliff and local rival Pacific Union return to the Cal Pac this season, the league's first without Soka, La Sierra, Providence Christian and UC Merced.
