Women at full strength at Jessup Invitational
Rocklin, Ca. – The Women's Cross Country traveled to Johnson Springview Park to participate in the William Jessup Invitational on Oct 22nd. The women were at full strength for the first time this season. The weather cooperated and the course was in great shape.
Alanna Kochuten again led the Keelhaulers with her best finish of the season. Gwyn Curry came in second for the Keelhaulers just missing a PR but posting her fastest time in the past two seasons. Evelyn Esparza shaved a minute and a half off her previous best time, and Sarah Kim chopped off a remarkable 2 minutes off her personal best. Sabrina Brown made her Keelhauler debut racing for the first time this season.
The Keelhaulers will travel to Fresno, Ca. next week to take part in the California Pacific Conference Championships held at Woodward Park. The women's race starts at 9:30 am.
