VALLEJO, Calif. – A portion of Cal Maritime's schedule that includes four games within eight days continues this week, starting with Wednesday's 7 p.m. road game at Menlo. Following the team's first road trip of the 2021-22 season, it will return to PEAC Main Gym on Veteran's Day to host Bethesda at 7:30 p.m.

Following their two-day respite, the first of consecutive games against William Jessup is slated for November 15 on the Keelhaulers' home court. The return game against the Warriors will take place in Rocklin on Nov. 23.

Cal Maritime will return to the court following last Sunday's 13-point victory over Pacific Union. Thanks to stellar defense played throughout the game, especially during the early portion of the second half, a six-point lead increased to double digits for the rest of the night.

On the other end of the court, the Keelhaulers hit half of their 60 attempts and connected on 12 of 15 shots from the line to collect the first victory of the Tim Bross era.

Cal Maritime enjoyed a pair of 20-point performances from Eric Norton, who finished with a team-high 21, and Amil Fields, who scored that exact total.

In addition to defeating the Pioneers by 13, the Keelhaulers also outrebounded them by a matching margin.

Even though Cal Maritime and Menlo split their last four head-to-head matchups, the Keelhaulers won 7 of 9, dating back to January 31, 2015. The Oaks will enter Wednesday's home event with wins in each of their first four games of the year.

After dropping their first five games, Bethesda collected its first win of the year last Friday when the Flames visited Embry-Riddle. The team will compete in an exhibition on Tuesday, at Southern Utah, before heading to Vallejo for Thursday's contest.

After starting the season with a 3-0 record, William Jessup will open a six-game road trip on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Sacramento State. The team will head to Oregon this weekend to face Southern Oregon and Oregon Institute of Technology before Monday's meeting at Cal Maritime.

The Warriors will then head to Vanguard and Life Pacific for their inaugural league games of the year before battling the Keelhaulers again, this time on their home court, on Nov. 23.
