VALLEJO, Calif. – Lunden Taylor led all Keelhaulers with 14 points and DeAndre Minor finished one point shy of matching his teammate's team-high scoring total in Thursday's game, at PEAC Main Gym, against Menlo.
Trailing by four at the break, Cal Maritime hung with the visiting Oaks throughout most of the second half, but it was Menlo's success from three — it sank eight shots from distance compared to CSUM's two — that led to an 73-56 victory over the Keelhaulers.
Since this matchup was the final home non-conference contest of the season, Cal Maritime will now hit the road for its next two events, starting with Saturday's 3:30 p.m. at Cal Poly Humboldt, and will head to Arcata with a 0-5 record.
Menlo will continue its season at 6-1.
