ASHLAND, Ore. – Daniel Andreyev led a group of 12 CSUM scorers by finishing with nine points, on 4 of 7 shooting, in Wednesday's non-conference matchup at Lithia Motors Pavilion in Ashland, Oregon, DeAndre Minor and Miles Macayan each finished one point shy of matching their teammate's team-high total as the Keelhaulers dropped their final Cal Pac tune-up, 101-64, at Southern Oregon.
The Raiders' shooting from three was the key to their victory since they canned 19 from distance out of the 36 field goals recorded throughout the game.
Following the Thanksgiving break, men's basketball will open league play with three in a row at home, starting with its November 30 contest vs. Westcliff; tipoff inside PEAC Main Gym will take place at 7:30 p.m.
Cal Maritime's Cal Pac homestand will continue on December 1 vs. Saint Katherine (3 p.m. start) and end December 6 vs, UC Merced (7:30 p.m.) before it embarks on a season-long five-game road swing, starting December 8 at Simpson.
The Keelhaulers will return home with a 0-7 record, Southern Oregon will continue its season at 2-3.
