IRVINE, Calif. – Davis Ott and Anthony Mercado's attempts to score were both on goal, Jose Diaz and Cade Weatherbie also recorded shots of their own in Friday's Cal Pac Conference matchup in Irvine, but early scoring from Stanton helped it build a lead the team never relinquished in a game the Elks won by a 7-0 result.
Cal Maritime will experience a quick turnaround because it will end the weekend against Westcliff in a 1 p.m. game hosted by Orange Coast College on Sunday.
