Keelhaulers win Cal Team Race with undefeated round-robin record

SAN FRANCISCO - Brock Paquin, Max Roth, Jacob Fisker-Andersen, Clay Myers, Justin Zmina and Cyrus Khaleeli helped Cal Maritime win its second regatta of the 2021-22 season, and the first during its spring slate, by finishing first at the Cal Team Race, hosted by Cal.

Following an undefeated group of races that took place during round-robin competition at the Treasure Islaind Sailing Center throughout the weekend, the Keelhaulers posted an unblemished record for the weekend — the only one of the seven teams to accomplish this feat — by defeating a Cal Poly team that finished second after suffering only one loss during the regatta, a result that took place against Cal Maritime.

UC San Diego 1, Cal 1, Cal 2 and UCLA finished third through sixth, respectively, with UCSD's second team completing the team standings in sevents.

The Keelhaulers' next event will take place next weekend at the Women's Regatta in Redwood City, California, hosted by Stanford.
